Note these rules apply to all computer users but this guide is written for the novice computer user so when the term “never” is used it may mean never do this if you are a novice but if you are a competent computer user and you know what to look for you may be able to make the click without harming your computer.
Install an Anti- Virus (anti-malware) program and keep it up to date along with other software programs such as your Microsoft Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash and Java (Oracle). Your computer uses these programs when you visit different websites and it is important to keep them updated to avoid getting viruses.
